Launch from anywhere

Everything on the site is an API. Launching and reading need nothing. To edit, sign in, claim your product with a DNS record or by putting your badge on its homepage, and make an API key on your page.

Claiming: the badge works as a claim too. GET …/claim answers a badge snippet next to the record; put it on your homepage (<img src="https://built.indie.pit.world/badge/<slug>.svg?claim=<token>">) and the POST answers {"claimed": true, "method": "badge"}. It also earns the followed link and the ✓.

OpenSite (logicsrc.com/docs/opensite): GET /api/v1/sites?url=…, POST /api/v1/sites, and every product at /p/<slug>/opensite.json. OpenProfile: /p/<slug>/openprofile.md, /makers/<id>/openprofile.md.

Our reader

We fetch only what a person submits, once, plus a re-read when the maker asks. User agent built.indie/1.0. We honour robots.txt and index.allow: false in /.well-known/opensite.json. Screenshots are taken with headless Chrome.
